Coree Park Playground, Denman Prospect ACT Completed

Arcus Wire Group is proud to support this project through the supply of Flexi-Mesh and hamma® stainless steel lacing wire, used to form custom enclosure screens for a sculptural and design-led play structure.
Delivered by Bespoke Wire & Rope, with FORGE as the project builder, the project reflects a growing shift towards highly architectural playground environments that combine form, function, and community value.
Inspired by the surrounding Brindabella landscape, the structure incorporates curved, mountain-like forms that create a distinctive and immersive play experience. To complement this design, Flexi-Mesh was used to form enclosure screens that follow the structure’s complex geometry.
Designed for Complex Geometry
Due to the abstract and irregular nature of the design, many mesh panels required custom shaping and on-site tapering to suit their exact positions. This highlights the adaptability of Flexi-Mesh in projects where standard solutions are not sufficient.
Despite the challenges of working with non-standard geometries, the final result delivers a seamless and visually striking enclosure system that integrates naturally within the playground environment.
Coordinated Installation for Safe Delivery
Installation was completed in close coordination with the builder and other trades, ensuring safe access and efficient sequencing across the project. This collaborative approach allowed works to progress smoothly while maintaining safety as a key priority.

Installation was delivered by Bespoke Wire and Rope, who fabricated and installed each individual cable on site. Using mobile rigging equipment and a local franna crane, the artworks were temporarily suspended while cables were manufactured and installed in situ. This approach allowed for exact cable lengths, fine adjustment during installation and reduced risk compared to pre-fabricated assemblies.
