World’s First Cliff Park to Open in the Gold Coast Hinterland with Support from Arcus Wire Group

The world’s first cliff park will officially open in January 2026 at Binna Burra in the Gold Coast Hinterland, with Happitat Adventure Park set to welcome its first visitors on January 10.

Suspended 400 metres above the valley floor, this landmark development blends adrenaline, engineering and nature in a way never before seen in Australia.

Created by former professional snowboarder Michael Neuruer, Happitat Adventure Park brings together suspended bridges, tightropes, timber crossings and a 200-metre zip line soaring above Lamington National Park.

Complementing the high-adrenaline elements are waterfall lookouts, rainforest walks, natural swimming holes and “sweeping views” from a 12-metre viewing platform designed to showcase the beauty of the region.

Mr. Neuruer acknowledged the critical role of Arcus Wire Group in designing and manufacturing custom stainless steel clamps and connection systems for the zip line cables, along with supplying hamma® wire and Flexi-Mesh stainless steel balustrades throughout the park.
