Arcus wire group wins the 2025 assda fabricator project of the year award
Thursday 16th October 2025
Arcus Wire Group is proud to announce that we have been awarded the 2025 Australian Industry Stainless Steel Fabricator Project of the Year in the Architecture, Building & Construction category for our work on the Pathway of Progress installation at Georgia Tech, Atlanta, USA.
The Pathway of Progress stands as a testament to what’s possible when craftsmanship, innovation, and collaboration come together. What began as a concept to honour generations of women at Georgia Tech evolved into a technically demanding and visually striking stainless steel landmark – one that captures light, movement, and meaning in every reflection.
Fabricated entirely in Australia and installed in the United States, the project transformed over 3,500 aluminium tiles into a durable stainless steel structure featuring mirror, gold, and textured finishes. It required thousands of custom fittings, cables, and rods, all designed and executed with the precision and technical excellence that define Arcus Wire Group’s approach to every project.
This award is more than recognition of a single achievement, it’s a celebration of our team’s commitment to Australian manufacturing, global collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence that has guided us for over 60 years.
We thank our partners Merica May Jensen, Bespoke Wire and Rope Pty Ltd, Maffeis Engineering, and the entire Arcus team – continuing to bring stainless steel craftsmanship to new heights.
Arcus Wire Group is a recognised leader in wire rope, chain, and hardware for over 60 years. We bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and expertise to help customers with projects of any size or complexity.
