The year that was - 2023
As for all businesses across our region, it’s been another busy year for our team. Responding to market demand, we’ve continued to expand our specialised range of products and services to help customers deliver key projects, and we’ve been recognised with a major international industry award. We’ve also expanded our team with new appointments and promotions.
New Products
Our product range has expanded to now include the cutting edge Cyclops Marine sensor technology. Arcus Wire Group became the exclusive supplier across Australia in October 2023.
New Services
Our Testing Services have been expanded to include a new 60t test bed to support our customers in testing wire rope and cable assemblies. Operating beside our 300t test bed, we are now able to test cable assemblies up to 15m.
New Projects
We’ve celebrated the launch of Australia’s first diagonal arch bridge – Alfred Street Bridge – in Parramatta, New South Wales which features our products including: Teufelberger-Redaelli full locked coil cables, hamma wire and fittings, and Flexi-Mesh.
International Award
We’ve won a global award for our underwater Duplex cable project in Israel from International Stainless Steel Forum – World Stainless.
Celebrating CEO’s 35-years
We’ve celebrated our CEO David Sheedy’s 35-Year career with Arcus Wire Group! Thank you to our customers and suppliers for your good wishes.
The year ahead - 2024
As we move into the new year, we’re looking forward to continuing to bring new, innovative products and services to help our customers deliver projects of any size or complexity across the marine, industrial and architectural sectors.
We’re looking forward to celebrating 60-years in the wire rope industry in 2024! This is a major milestone which we’ll be celebrating with our customers, suppliers, and teams across the region.
We will release new catalogues incorporating our expanding range of industry leading wire rope and fittings. These will be available on our website and from our business development team.
We’ll share latest technical information and useful tips throughout the year, including how to select the right fittings for the job, swaging techniques and sustainability.
Fully stocked - ready for delivery
Our warehouses in New South Wales and Queensland are fully stocked with our quality range of wire rope and fittings, which means that our teams can deliver products overnight to most locations across Australia, and within 3-5 working days across the Asia-Pacific region.
Importantly, all products are shipped in sustainable packaging and hamma Regatta products now come with full traceability as an additional free service. Flexi-Mesh cable mesh and swaging tools are also available for all of your project needs, contact us for more information including lead times.
Holiday Closing and Re-opening Dates
We’re looking forward to the holidays.We will be closed from midday Thursday 21st December 2023 and re-opening 7:30am Tuesday 2nd January 2024.
